I really like your message, but here's the thing. In the 21st Century, we have been introduced to a new era, which brings new ideas, new conflicts, and miscegenation. Latinos and Europeans are proud of their heritage because of their accomplishments and cultures. Also, they want prevent assimilation. I understand this, coming from a Cherokee/Irish/Mexican background. However, I do agree that minorities get carried away with their pride. I believe that you can be proud of your heritage, but in the end, we are all of the human race, no matter what the differences may be. It is completely unacceptable to use race to advance yourself financially or in social status. Although I do support affirmative action. I think it for people responsible enough and meet some qualifications.

I agree with ccc. We are ALL a part of the human race.We all need to get along in this world. As a business owner I employ all races & colors. I could care less your color or where you came from . All I care about is how well you do the job.I AM proud to be English, French Canadian ,Irish,Scotch & American Indian. Those 5 bioods make me proud to be a American & you should be proud of who you are & forget t he race card because we all have a little something else in us.

The video took forever to get to the point, but you're right on. You don't choose your race, hair color, or financial status at birth. Your life is what you make of it.

And I say if you choose to immigrate to this country then you should want to be here. Learn it's language and culture and contribute to it.

If you are completely proud or fixated on your race, then move to the country of that race...you don't want to be an American.
