What is "agianst"? Is this some biblical term I am unfamiliar with? As a full-time agnostic and part-time atheist I try to study the scriptures and understand these things, but I know nothing of "agianst", what can it mean?

I think it takes alot for God to be against you if I remember right from my sunday school days.... I think you can sin alot and yet no matter what you do you can be forgiven.
I think God gets annoyed and will let you fall because you act like an idiot, but I think he is still always there in the end when you need him.

God is for us and because of that NOTHING can be against us! HE is not against us, but some are definitely against HIM! We are HIS children, HE loves us.

God loves us, I wouldn't say he is for us, in that everything we do is a form of self-indulgence which is displeasing to God.
Isaiah 64:6
All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
Satan is against God, he wanted to have God's thrown and was instead cast out of heaven. Satan despises followers of God because they do things to glorify God (despite their inner motives).
John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

God created you and everyone else, therefore why would He be against us? His love is unconditional.
