Why do men consider kids baggage? I am a single women and I dont understand why When I date I have baggage? My Kids dont need a father I need a man?

where ever u go...ur children will come after you...any man u marry..ur children will become his responsibility too

I did not when i was single. It just depends. Like other things a few bad single parents try and make out like you are going to be thier kids new daddy the first or 2nd time you go out. If that is not a scary thought then what is? When you see some other people's kids I am sure you understand. You have to overcome the way these bad single parents have set up the perception. It is really about you and the way you handle this. If you are a good mother then that is a big plus to us. If you cannot handle a date then this is a sign that you cannot handle other things.

I've never heard that saying before, to me it sounds like they are saying that your kids are an inconveniance. No kids are baggage. Are guys that don't have kids the only guys that you have dated? Maybe they aren't really for a serious family relationship. Kids always come first before any man. There are plenty of guys out there that will treat you and your kids like gold. That whole "baggage" word sends off a bad vibe.

look at the big picture lady, if you and a man get together and turn out to like each other then it's not just you, it's you and your kids ( baggage ) i am in a relationship with a single mom and i'm facingthat exact same problem.
you women are looking for MR. right, well men are looking for right now. especially if you have baggage

Not all men are like that. I used to think I would never find someone if I left my kids dad since i had 4. Only one person I dated had a problem with my kids and I dumped him when he said that.

well hun they just want to f u no kissing and rubbin. Cha! but on the other hand they dont want kids or the resondsbity of helping or they would 'nt want to gat close to the child and hurt the chid when things dont work out with you two. your kids will always need a father there are somethings you can't teach them on your own, but i wish you much love and wisdom from me to you .

honey keep ur head up! i have two kids myself and im doing just fine, there are lots of guys who love kids or even have some themselves, you just have to be patient and keep ur options open. But dont mess with his *** if he cant handle ur kids. they come first.

i used to think like that....then i met my current girlfriend, she has two kids! theres nothing wrong with it! i love her kids like they were always mine!
