It was on CNN news today. The Marine was under fire and he was running and showing serious fear. Why? The insurgents looked cool under fire. Why are the Marines so scared?

I know you say that you spent 6 years in the military, but I highly doubt it. You may have been drafted, but you didn't go in voluntarily, like our brave men and women fighting right now.

so jihad man or woman, have you EVER been shot at, been held with a weapon in your face OR been shot. Sounds as if that maybe the camera man found a " victim" to prey on. But still I was a Marine for 7 years and still normal Human nature is to show that fear when you are. Some show more/ less than others but it still comes out some way. Were his pants at his crotch wet? Well, that would be a plus on your side if they were but highly doubt it. MArines are some of the toughest people I kjnow becuase we are trained to do 2 things..... KILL and FIGHT. How about this pansy, go to MCRD (Marine Corps Recruit Depot )Parris Island (Boot Camp) and tell me how you fended there. Then go from there to SOI (School of Infantry) and then Iraq and bring me pics of your terrified face while being chased by 10+ insurgents...Oops wait, you can't do that because we don't let girlies into combat action

Why do people ask questions like this? It seems like everyday a Marine is crying or scared on CNN. I am starting to doubt that for some reason.
The insurgents looked cool? How many insurgents were close enough for the camera to see? Give me a break.
I will give you the same response I always give. If he is scared or crying, then he should have not joined the military. He is not cut out to be a Marine.

When I see a strange name like yours and a question like this it makes me think you could be for the other side. Where are you from? Are you jhad? Read on because anyone that is not afraid in a war is a crazy person. I am thinking you may have been brainwashed to believe that fear is a weakness. Well forceing you way in to something will be the death of all of Islam at some point. You better learn to show fear because if you have no fear you will end up dead.. Or are your kind not smart enough to know that or just simply brainwashed?
It takes a fool not to be afraid.
Being the insurgents was not showing fear on their face shows they are:
1. Brainwashed by Islam.
2. On heavy drugs.
3 A total nut case.
4. Are insane
5. Wants to die because of the brainwashing.
6. Places no value on their liefs nor anyone Else's.
But to not be afraid shows a lack of self awareness .. These people really need help or need to die.

The insurgents have no concern for their own butts, they just want to kill. Our brave marines, on the other hand have to be careful not to just strike out against everyone. It is often wiser to retreat a bit and regroup to fight again than to worry about somebody far from the battle thinking you looked scared.
The insurgents are torturing and killing their own people daily. Some think their death would earn them heaven. Which one would you rather have on your side.
The marine you saw was intelligent enough to be scared, everyone not on a spiritual jihad should be scared over there. If you were in that situation you'd probably be scared too.
Let's just pray for the brave marine and all our service people who are keeping the insurgents and terrorists busy OVER THERE!

if someone was shooting at me i would take cover too.during my 6 years in the army i was lucky enough not to get shot at.
why dont u go let someone shoot at you,will u stand there or find cover?
futhermore those idiots we are fighting dont care to die.they think that they are going to allah when they get killed.
we americans do not think that way(or i dont).

i also have a good frind of mine leaving friday to go to iraq
