If (Rhonda below) means Babylon of old that Cyrus took down that had been gone for years when Revelation was written and Revelation was written for the future not the past or be understood by Christ' true followers at the end of wicked human rule where we are at right now. It ties well with Dan. 2:44. "This was the fall of Babylon."

(Arf Bee below)The true faith would have to be a one united faith or it would be contradictory to Bible teachings. Babylon the Great in Revelation would be ALL religions teaching Babylon pagan like things no matter the name given that religion Christian or otherwise if their teaching are in truth pagan its teachings are contradictory to Bible teachings. For an example look up where the Christmas idea really came from, not the Bible! It may have been given a "Christian" sounding name but its "over do it ways" are ALL pagan. And many other "Christian" hoildays are just renamed pagan teachings and no more! The true faith will not mix Christian teachings with well known pagan teachings. It will not mix lies with truth so to have a little dishonest fun,BABYLON in truth! "It pertains to a particular church that has claimed to be the true church since its inception over the millennia... Her doctrines and teachings are not only contradictory but quite blasphemous to what the Holy Bible says."

(azar_and...)"Too many sites." Yes, I am trying zealously to help people no matter they think me to be a fool.

"What's the general idea? That "healers" don't heal everyone, or that Pastors shouldn't be paid for their full-time service?" To live in this world money is needed true, even for a one united faith but the one united faith I know do their ministry for free and what money is needed is given as voluntary donations for the worldwide work Christ said would be done before the end came at Matthew 24:14 and for any paid clergy to get rich and famous off of.

"Surely you don't expect non-believers to understand or obey God's laws." Free home Bible studies have helped many by that one united faith to become believers because they saw the teachings made sense and wanted to go help yet other people to know what they themselves come to know as reasonable and it came right from the Bible.

"Maybe I missed something?" YES, a free home Bible study! You must know who to go to, true?

This was the fall of Babylon.

The statement, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

( a warning to Gods people to leave so as not be involved with the plagues.)

This can be seen in two different aspects, both of which are correct. One is that "her" is the world of sin, the world which is also represented by Babylon. Christians are not to be part of the world. The other aspect is the Catholic Cult which teaches that Mary is the queen of heaven, the co-redemptrix, and the mother of God. All of which will lead to a one world church where Jesus has no part of. This is the basis of Wicca and many other cults who claim allegiance and worship of "Mother Earth". All of this is total blasphemy and enmity against the Word of the True and Living God, The Lord Messiah ,Jesus the Christ.

That's simple.

It pertains to a particular church that has claimed to be the true church since its inception over the millennia... Her doctrines and teachings are not only contradictory but quite blasphemous to what the Holy Bible says.

Peace be with you!

The Lord is telling true followers of The Gospel to get out of the one world religion....ecumenicalism. Jesus Christ is The only Way, not this false religion (the whore of Babylon.) Remember the parable of the mustard seed? It grew to be a large tree (which mustard does not do) and every type of bird (demon) made their nests in it. (one world religion)
