It's very unlikely you ate any maggots without noticing them, they taste nothing like chocolate! But they won't do you any harm, anyway, they are a regular part of the Inuit diet. I have eaten them, and while I wouldn't go so far as to say "Mmmm.... bring me some more!", they weren't all that bad, either!

You'll be fine. I'm sure we've all eaten a maggot a time or two. I suppose the worst thing would be that they actually hibernate in your tummy and turn into flies. If you feel fluttering in your tummy in a couple of days you'll know you've birthed some flies.
