I am thinking of dressing my daughter as some sort of princess for Halloween and I am wondering is it better to get the Halloween Costume or go to the dress up section and get something there.
Which will last longer and be more durable.

Depends on where you buy it. If you go to the actual Disney store (or to Ebay or Craigslist) and get an actual Disney dress, these are very cute, excellent quality princess dresses. The disney online store is selling princess dresses for $25 right now, and can get the shoes for $10 & crown/wand for $17. Use the code FamilyFun20 to get 20% off that, with shipping total outfit about $50. I've ordered lots of stuff from them and never ever been disappointed in the quality. If you belong to Upromise, link through your Upromise account (online shopping) to the disney site before checking out and get like 8% back.

The dress up section will most likely last longer.

When halloween comes i used to buy the clearance dress up stuff for my daycare but I have come to find that they are not good quality. They always rip or tear or something happens to them.

In the end I have to go to the store and buy acutal costumes.

The dress up section is usually better. There are some cute princess Disney ones by the toys.

Iwould go for the dress up clothes that way she can play dress up later on with it. That's what we did last year & it's still in great shape & had gone thorugh 2 toddlers & 2 birthday parties.

it depends on how old your daughter is. if she is old enough to know what she likes, take her to let her pick what she likes. if she is a baby then go to the costumes, depending on where you go they have the cutest costumes. i take my 4 yr old to party city and early so she has a better selection they have infant costumes too.
