Interesting though, you say Jesus loves all people...yet, I find many of His and other religious followers are arogant and dismiss others' own feelings proclaiming "evil" in people that do not follow Him. Monopolizing the boards and asking to "convert" people to their own way of thinking.

(I'm not 'fingering' you on this, ok?)

Believing in any god is having the ability to elevate your mind into a state that some of us people cannot understand. You "feel" a peace that us agnostics and athestiests cannot comprehend. We are fact driven and results based (Oh, I'm sure the list is much bigger but this is enough for now). Could it be an undevelopped part of our brains? Who knows.

I'll attest that you do have a spiritual guide that you (believers) can follow even though I do not understand it myself.

We agnostics and athiests do have a very strong common sense. We know very well "right from wrong". Please don't equate us as the lesser or incapable people. You're making a minority out of us and that's not the case.

Try looking up all the worlds' religions and examine excerpts of their beliefs and see how they differ and what similarities we all have.

This is not a good forum for discussing religious beliefs though. I rarely ever attempt to answer these questions, but yours appears geniune.

Cheers.

1.Because there is no quantitative, tangible proof that God is there, many people refuse to believe in Him because they don't understand how it can be possible. The problem is that this is very prideful because there is also no quantitative, tangible proof that He doesn't exist either. So instead of keeping an open mind, they encapsulate God into something that they can understand...a myth for weak individuals who need something in which to believe. If you won't believe in the Father, then you won't believe in the Son.

2. Some people want to believe and love Jesus, but feel that they have done things so wrong that there is no way that He can love them so they rebel. (For I am certain that not death, or life, or angels, or rulers, or things present, or things to come, or powers, Or things on high, or things under the earth, or anything which is made, will be able to come between us and the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39)

3. People in other religions will not accept Him because it would mean that their religion is a lie.

4. Some people don't want to repent. they want to continue their sinful life.

it is an thrilling question. the respond is the two particular and no. particular: Mormons have faith that Jesus is an analogous guy or female as Jehovah, the God of the previous testomony. Even the call internet internet site of the e book of Mormon states that it grew to alter into written "to the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ, the eternal God". No: on an analogous time as "God" refers decrease back to the father, we don't think of that Jesus is God, yet somewhat the Son of God. There are 3 different persons which contain the Godhead: God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. they're separate entities yet united in purpose. on occasion the understanding "God" could be ambiguous, because of the fact it may represent the father, the Son, the Holy Ghost, or all 3 on an analogous time. in lots of circumstances conversing, no be counted if, the understanding "God" is used to represent our Heavenly Father, till the context dictates in any diverse case.

Satan is a fairy-tale intended to scare people into doing what their church leaders want, and to give them an excuse when they do bad things ("the devil made me do it").

What proof do you have that jesus loves anybody? Let me tell you, there are people that I love (my wife, my kids) -- and I would do anything to protect them, keep them safe and healthy, and make sure they have a good life. The proof of my love is that they ARE safe and healthy and have a good life. Now, jesus is supposed to be an all-powerful god...and yet billions of people that he supposedly "loves" are suffering horribly, are hungry, are killing each other, die from preventable diseases...
I submit that there is considerable proof that I love my family, and no proof of any kind that jesus loves anybody.
And don't give me that "he gave his life for you" garbage...there's no proof he did any such thing, and even if he did, if that is the total expression of his "love" and he does nothing to take care of the people he loves while they're alive, then his love is useless anyway and of no value.

I believe that people have to be accountable if they accept God in any form. People do not want to be accountable so they reject God in any form. This notion of being "accountable to yourself" is hog wash. That is a fancy BS way of saying that a person does whatever they want...which by definition means no accountability.

Bible doesn't even blame Satan for that. I'm sure the Bible's explanation is sin.
