Is there a god? Maybe. Maybe not. It appears highly improbable that there is a supernatural agency such as a deity responsible for maintaining this universe. And, in considerations of the sheer horror that is the human condition in this world, if such a deity existed, a reasonable person could only conclude that said deity was a sick, sadistic lunatic who created all of this just for the pleasure of watching his creation suffer. However, given that it does appear highly improbable that God exists, and given that, based upon the evidence, human beings appear to have caused most of the conditions that negatively impact themselves and others; it is safe to assume that we are responsible for the conditions of this world and NOT any imaginary super-being.

The idea that God is an oversized white male with a flowing beard who sits in the sky and tallies the fall of every sparrow is ludicrous. But if by 'God' one means the set of physical laws that govern the universe, then clearly there is such a God. This God is emotionally unsatisfying...it does not make much sense to pray to the law of gravity.

God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind, provided that any search was made at all instead of swallowing the pile of delusional bilge that was spoon fed to you as a child

Because there is a lot more to this existance than this life...you think too short term and petty. There are terrible conditions but thats why it passes you by. I'd be more worried about the 1 billion years ahead than the small 70-100 years you have now.

I think so yes, There is no proof of macro evolution, big bang, strings, or anything else that says there is no god. Only other faiths that try to hide behind science.

Yes, there is and there is no real answer for the second one, sometimes He just wants to test us to see if we will stay with him even when it's hard. He's a just God, he'll take care of you if you'll let him and sometimes you're right and his right are two different things.

Yes. The earth is the way it is because of sin...not God.
