Yes you are correct. They all have references referred to abraham. In fact the bible and jewish torah are half the same. The old testament is the jewish torah basically. Islams believe in abraham. They believe they are direct descendents as well.

No!!! Abraham only dealt with the full belief in one God and only One God.
The True Origin of the Muslim Faith Can be traced back to One of Nora's threes Sons, Ham, in particularly. Ham is the father of the African Nations, who started the belief in Many Gods. Thier belief was heavily found in the Babaylonian Nations, which is where the Muslim Faith has it's Origins as Well.
The Jewish Faith is kinda "Luke Warm" It only accepts the First Five Books of the Bible, and a few others, but the belief in Jesus Christ as Christians see it is not the same.
Most European Jews, don't belief that Christ is God, or that he ever died on the Cross to begin with. And even so many of the Original Jews from the Roman Empire Captivity even though they saw Christ in the Flesh, many still deny he was ever God.
Most importantly Muslims are the children of Abrahams Son Ishmeal. Ishmeal was born to Abraham and Hanna. However God Gave his Blessing to Abrahams's son Issac, who son Jacob had 12 Sons in whom the original Convenant with God was Made.
I really hope this bit of history helps
GodBless!!!!!

She remembers how probably the most ladies would get pregnant, than someday they weren't even as black smoke comes from the incinerator. As an grownup, she joined the Church of God, which is the place I went the fundamental school at. Once I was in the 2nd grade (1963), she bought the Bible Story books.* For my older sisters, she purchased the Encyclopedia Britannica. When she was putting the Britannica away, probably the most books fell open to the section on the Ark of the first-class Flood. It confirmed that the Ark used to be a field, no longer a boat. The Ark didn't have got to sail, simply float. It more stable and did not require ballast. This acquired her to questioning what else was once mainly believed, however was now not correct. After checking different matters, all it took used to be a knock on the door. Her title was once Nan C. It used to be an uphill battle, as my stepfather used to be tremendously adversarial. He was a Korean struggle vet. He would throw the books away. Consequently, Nan started bringing her husband, Stan, also a conflict vet. He failed to preach at dad, simply talked to him about the war, lifestyles, and the world. Stan passed away final month. My mom and dad were witnesses for over 40 years and are in their eighties. They're now commencing to peer the end of their course in life, if Armageddon doesn't come first. He's dropping pounds swiftly. He had a brain embolism three years ago, but nonetheless will get out into the service as soon as a month.** mother can no longer get out within the provider. She attends the meetings with the aid of cell hookup. When she was once born, hospitals didn't have nursuries, let alone NICU. She weighed less than a pound and her organs have been on the outside. They shove them again in, covered the gap with tape, and sent her house in a shoe field. She wasn't anticipated to live, however she did.

The first two can but Christan can't because look at the over 3,000 different religions that all teach different doctrines, lets throw in some cults also like Jehovah's Witnesses who think they are the only true religion. Well you can't trace all this confusion back to Abraham.

You forgot the fourth, Mormonism! Yes these religions have many common beliefs and share the Old Testament, but they diverge. Judaism is the original. Christianity split because it says Jesus was the Messiah, while Judaism disagrees. Islam says Mohammed is the final prophet and takes precedence over the ones in the Old and New Testaments. His book is the Koran or Quran. Mormonism has the Book of Mormon that Joseph Smith claimed was given to him on golden tablets by an angel named Moroni.

Judaism doesn't need Christianity or Islam to explain their relationship with God...
Abraham is the patriarch of the Jewish religion. He was the first Jew. He worshiped the living God. That is why Judaism and Christianity worship the same living God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
If you will read in Genesis, you will see that Abraham and Sarah were in a hurry to have a child. God promised them Isaac...but Sarah took things in her own hands and asked Hagar (her maid servant) to lay with Abraham and Ishmael was born.
Abraham said to God now that I have a son will you bless him? God said, he is not the promised child but I will bless him.
Abraham then had Isaac and he was blessed with what God had promised. Abraham is the father of many nations. Ishmael and Hagar were eventually sent away (Hagar and Sarah not getting along).
Christians = followers of Jesus Christ (a Jew) and His teachings; His father's teachings...we (Christians) have Hebrew roots.
Islam was an obscure little religion practiced in a tent (Egypt) and Muhammad stumbled upon it 600 years after Jesus died on the cross. Muhammad took some things from Judaism and some things from the Christians and the Quran was born. Muhammad did twist the New Testament...so, the Quran is not accurate when it talks about the Gospels and Jesus.
