First get the formula for the area of a circle...then get the diameter..then do some math

3.1417 * r squared
r is the radius, which is the distance from the center to the outside of the circle.
r squared is the radius *itself. the r squared is figured first, so if the radius is 3, then 3*3 =9.
9*3.1417=28.2753

Take the radius, square it and multiple it by pi

The circumference is radius times pi,
or radius times 2 times pi

(Pi is 3.141592654...usually just 3.14 is ok)

I WAS NT very good at maths sure its something to do with diameter and radius but dont know what you do to get the answer
