This is from my husband: Sit down with him and have the talk about safe sex and all that so you get a jump on that problem. As far as the porn goes, tell him that it is completely natural to masturbate, but in private. Be sure to let him know that the girls in porn are not a realistic representation of women on the whole. Then put blocks on the computer so that he can not get porn that way. Call your phone company and get a 900 block put on your phone. It is normal to masturbate and to look at porn. But many times, porn costs money. When he is old enough to live on his own, he can do whatever he wants, but as long as he is in your home, he will just have to use his imagination. And congratulations on your little boy on his way to becoming a man!

What does the type of porn really have to do with it. I know you think oh that must mean he is intrested in older women or maybe you are worried about some thoughts of you. Honestly though that isn't the likely the case. Guys get intrested in different types of thing and as to it being MILF proably more a stage. No age is mentioned so can't say too much other then likely let him be and tell him keep his door closed if he is going to be doing that. Also maybe he has BEEN looking at it and is tired of looking at younger women(you know barely legal 18 type). As long as he isn't using your credit cards to get onto sites I say let it alone.

What should you do?
Well, let me tell you things you should NOT do.
Do not punish them. Why? Although it seems rather lenient, keep in mind that EVERY boy had at least one sexual thought in his life. In fact, some get URGES to do stuff like masturbating, so don't think he is like a criminal (ALTHOUGH it's ILLEGAL for minors to look at certain adult content) or bad person. I'm not a female, so I don't know about girls. But I know from my [male] experience, that sexual urges are extremely hard to diminish.
Don't restrict his access to the internet. It will just make things worse. Who knows what could happen. He may get desperate and find other ways for orgasms. Worst of all, he'll completely regret it and maybe he will get the wrong idea and think that sex is bad and will never have sex in his whole life.
I have many more reasons, but I think by now you should know what I'm talking about.
Oh yeah, and lastly, tell him not to do it again. Explain to him how it is illegal and he could get arrested and stuff. And tell him, it is a very bad habit. It may not have bad effects to your body like smoking does, but it's still an addiction (a filthy one too).

Dad and Mom caught me and my brothers but usually they never did anything like yell or scream or punish. We didnt do it together but i know we all got caught at doing it because mom and dad would always make a point to talk about it with us. Stop the internet service. You don't have to pay for it.
Separate the internet porn issue from the fact that you caught him masturbating. He needs to learn to avoid the porn. Those internet links will pull him in bad directions, and eventually will cost him money, waste his time, and bring him into contact with abusive people.
The temptation of internet is very strong, and something society has not really developed a response to. We have municipal zoning laws that try to keep prostitution, strip clubs, etc. geographically separate from residential neighborhoods, but we don't have a good way to separate positive uses of internet, such as for news, shopping and education, away from evil uses.
There are software called "net nannies" that try prevent access to porn, but I am not sure if it really works.
Some access to internet might be ok in supervised situations. If the internet is in the home, the computer should not be in a bedroom, but in a main room like the kitchen or the living room, and it should only be on when a parent or other adult is present.
The truth is, if your son wants to find it, he can probably get on computers at your neighbors homes, or the library. Educate him and motivate him to choose for himself what is right. The problem will come up not only with internet, but with choosing which movies to see, concerts to go to, which friends to hang out with.
You might consider get advice from a parents group, a minister, or school counselor.

Why does your grade school aged son have access to porn???
You need to let him know that masturbation is normal.
However, I think he is too young for porn. You should do a better job monitoring what he watches.
