awhile,it is best to get antibiotics for this problem..but if you can't drink large amounts of water to flush out your tack, this works for me ,it takes away the pain and you are able to pee normally again, i get them all the time, the more water you drink the faster it goes away! please try this it works, and it will take away the pain...try going to your local wal-mart and purchase cranberry pills, this will prevent a UTI in the future!

It could kill you... you need to get it treated....

but it could last for months... I kept getting the same recurring one for 2 years... at least I believe it was the same one because it wouldn't go away! What finally got rid of it was I took antibiotics (but I had been doing that for the other times and it hadn't gotten rid of it for good) so I think the key was that I drank a whole bottle... like a quart or more of that "Just Cran" cranberry juice where it has NO sugar or any other kinds of juices... It is brutal, tastes like poison, SO tart and bitter... but I drank it in shots and then I never got those infections ever again!

Don't let it go untreated. About a year ago I let one go untreated and wound up in the hospital with a kidney infection. That was the stupidest thing I could have done.

Infinitely......and it can get much more serious. It can travel up those tubes and go into your kidneys. You need to drink tons of water, buy cranberry tablets at the store and make an appointment to see your doctor for some anti-biotics.

HORRIBLE....
must really be bothering you right now. Anytime is too long to have one. Go to the doctor and get treated. (are you sure that's what it is) and if it's not treated you could get back pain and all kinds of things. For the moment...until you see your Doctor I suggest you get some cranberry juice.
