I really like this girl and i think she likes me too, but we are both really shy. I wanted to try to get her attention because I want to hint to her that I like her. Would smiling and waving to her while passing through the hall be a bad idea?

I wouldn't just wave and smile. Actually say hello. Try to get her attention where she would want to stop and talk to you.

No that's actually a good idea and even say hi. I'm the EXACT same way. I'm shy and the guy I like is shy. I talked with him all the time last year cause he sat in front of me in LA for half a year and we had so much in common. Unfortunately, now we aren't in any classes together and its quite depressing but we still see each other in the halls and I just say hey and stuff!

kinda elementary but if your both shy then sure.....the guy i like does the same and were both shy..... so i think it works...i now know he likes me...try and see
