I have seen spangles a few times over the past couple of years. Bought some but they did not taste the same.
We used to have texan bar wars at school, you cut chunks off and threw them at each other, by heck you knew about it if a corner of a texan caught you in the eye. Still at least you could eat the ammo.

I loved Spangles but nearly choked to death on them on more than one occasion ! Remember Aztec bars ? lots of the old sweets have been re-packaged and relaunched eg 'Treets' They're now 'Minstrels' Galaxy Counters, egg and milk chews, tiger tots, candy tots, i'm really hungry now!!!
