Muslims always seem to use the exact same questions over and over and over, as if there's some kind of seminar that trains Muslims exactly what to say to destroy a Christian's faith. They say things like "how can 1+1+1=1?" and "How can God have a son?" and "Why didn't Jesus ever say he was God?"

There seems to be a degree of short term memory loss among Muslims who are given the answers to these questions, because they seem to ask them over and over, as if they are looking for the WRONG answer so they can argue with it in support of Islam.

Is learning how to refute Christian beliefs an important part of Islamic education?

For "Who am I?" -

I pray he reads AND REMEMBERS this...

a.) Jesus said "I and the father are one" and "before Abraham was, I AM". In this sense, God had a very special presence in Jesus. In that sense, they were synonymous.

b.) The Trinity describes the 3 ways in which God manifests himself. There is ONE Trinity, just like there is one God. God is not subject to your simple math rules. You shouldn't set LIMITS on God. Which part of you is YOU...your body, or your soul, or your mind? Are you three people? Your math fails to explain this.

c.) God left Jesus in the last hours so that the messianic sacrifice foretold by scripture would be fulfilled and recognized

There. Write this down, and bring it to your immams...IF YOU DARE ;)

They do and they do.

Funny, that a question can be answered over and over, however it is never answered according to aethists and muslims.

I wonder why question and answer still = question with them.

I love your question.

Next time someone asks about the Trinity...just tell them...

Ice, water and steam. All the same with different functions.

Remember, Muslims get most of their information from the Quran (those that read it faithfully) and that book has twisted the New Testament. The rest listen to others spew venom and just believe what they hear instead of researching and reading the Holy Bible for themselves.

Grace to you!

I don't know why there has to be any debate between beliefs in the first place. To be fair, I've seen a lot of opposing arguments on the Christian side that are offensive and also propaganda. Anyone of religion is going to be astute in their beliefs. Why can't we all just agree to disagree and move on?

I am surprised. If you already know that Jesus (PBUH) never called himself a God and 1+1+1 is not equal to 1 then how does Trinity works. If you think Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit is One then who Jesus (PBUH) is asking for help at the cross? Himself?

Do not generalise your misunderstanding to all Muslims, I ask Christians around me if I don't understand something. I do not tell them that they are wrong, I do tell them how I think I am right if they ask something, and no we are not taught annoying questions by one source, these are the biggest differences in between our religions, to us Allah has no son, to you, God has a son, peace to you,
