FIRST see if the couple has a registry.. registries are the fail-safe.
IF there is no registry the money itself is ALWAYS a welcome gift, if you'd prefer not to give money; give them certificates for a "date night" (pair of tickets to local movie theatre, gift certificate for nice resturaunt, or both!) or something similar in nature.
Dont make the mistake of buying a gift that is primarily for the bride or the groom... they are both getting married and both receiving the gifts and blessings.

See if the person is registered somewhere. Even Target and Walmart has registries. You can look by Bride or Groom Last name. Try that first. Otherwise Picture frames, photo albums, a gift card to an everyday store lie Target or Walmart

You have many gift options, I would personally stray away from picture frames, I recently got married and got so many frames, I returned almost all of them to put it towards other things we needed. I'm assuming the bride-to-be is older since she was your teacher and may not be in need of many household items since she's most likely already been on her own, but if they have a registry, pick from that, if not or if you decide not to pick off the registry, try something like movie tickets or a gift certificate to dinner. That was one of the best gifts my husband and I got, a night out since we were low on cash for so long and hadn't had a chance to go on "date night". Any gift will be appreciated though, good luck.

from mother of a recent groom, no more picture frames. You can't go wrong getting them something they are registered for. No teacher gifts either.

i could get a collection image and physique from those that chipped in funds first of all and supply her that as a modern besides. What does she teach? Phy-Ed? activities Tickets Cooking type? present certificates to a large intense-high quality eating place, possibly even out of city so they are able to get a lodge and characteristic a intense-high quality weekend. English instructor? Tickets to a play or ballet. Social learn, history, Geography? intense-high quality baggage. i could seem at their registery to work out what they asked for. A Camcorder could be intense-high quality and noteworthy. solid success! it is this form of intense-high quality thought!

A pair of your well worn stinky socks for your teacher to sniff.
But only if you have cute toes and high arches. He may be picky like me!
