What is YOUR definition to spirituality?

My definition....hmmm....well I feel I am a spiritual person. Spirituality is a faith or belief a person has in anything, you can be spiritual and praise God, Allah, Buddha, a statue, yourself, really anything. Its the practices and rituals a person has...I think its made up of a lot of things. Sometimes I feel most spiritual just taking a shower and thinking about life and what Im thankful for. Good question cant wait to hear everyone else's replies! :o)

Spirituality - what you believe about yourself, the universe, the nature of existence, and a higher power. The personal beliefs about higher powers. May be part of an established religion or a personal doctrine of belief.

Religion - An established set of spiritual beliefs about a higher power and the way one should act according to this higher power. Practiced by a multitude of people.

this could sound over-simplified, yet i could say spirituality is, a minimum of, attaching importance or intending to activities that could somewhat be considered "mundane". Seeing some thing poetically symbolic in some own activities could be perceived as a spiritual 2nd. some fool here claimed "religious implies a spirit, which suggests a soul, which suggests a god." yet people who comprehend better comprehend that "religious" contains plenty better than the mere concept of a metaphysical soul, or perhaps then, the thought of a soul does not rely on the thought of deity. nonetheless i think if Christianity is the only ingredient one knows, they're guaranteed to bounce to stupid conclusions.

Spirit is the essence that is assigned to your body. You enhance it by your actions. All things carry a spirit and it radiates out to each of us that wish to share in it. Many believe it involves an religion or type of practice, I however don't. Its just who you are.... be it a rock, dog, plant, human, water or car- its the "higher" purpose you serve.

Soul is a human thing. A part of who you are and it is carried through your entire existence "each lifetime" and onto the next. It is the blueprint for you, whom ever you are this time or next.

Good question, yet quotes are good ways for people to express themselves, when it comes to "spirit" I really wouldn't limit that.

For me it's very powerful, it's a faith of feelings, knowing, seeing what the normal eye cannot, that's why my name is intel-eyes.

Seeing Ghost, Spirits, Angels, and feeling many many presences, and knowing who some of them are. I even felt God's presence intervene to me, and felt what he say to me.

Sometimes when I'm asleep and if these Spirits don't wake me, I usually know where and what they are doing in my room as if I can see them, and feel what they are thinking. I aways been like this since I can remember, about four y/o, I aways though it was normal, that everyone had this ability.

My faith and spirituality is very strong especially with God, since I can remember....... God bless:)

Something that is there but you can't feel it or see it. Oxygen you can feel when you wave your hand fast in front of your face. Doesn't inlcude microscopic animals, they are visble through a microscope.

spirituality for me is as much about learning who you are as well as learning about others
its about that connection with everything and everyone
its about seeing yourself as a reflection of others and them as a reflection of you
and in seeing that reflection .. knowing what needs altered
