texting a girl, I assume you like, is seen as week. So yes, in some cases it is passive aggressive. You should try calling someone, it is more straight forward and confident.

Can be if it's send too offend. But if the person is complaining of receiving better be limited only to "emergency" situations.
Conversation is the best, hiding behind text is some aggressive way to must to have the message.

Depends if you can talk to her face to face as well. Sometimes it is a good way to start of conversations. Most people are more open in emails and texts because they can't see the other person. If you can continue the talk when you meet up with her than it can't be a bad thing. It's a good way to let her know your thinking about her any time of day.
