i have had a ovely strong passion to hurt others, but this passion has gone down quite abit over the past months and nothing new has happend. i also seem to have random thought pop in to my head. some thoughs related to the task at hand and other not. usualy with these thoughts i cant get rid of them and they will stay with me for minutes! i also get side tracked very easaly and i have a short temper with people i know. lets see what else...i have thought of suacide and tried once but i am the only one that knows about it. i have also come close to killing other people many times. i know i have low selfesteem and a very poor out look. also no matter how i look at other people i can still seem my self as being worse than rapists though i have not done any thing like that. actualy right now i am in one of my neutral emotions but other than neutral i am ether depressed or pissed as hell for no reasion.

you should do yourself a favor and make an appt. to see a psychiatrist. your problem appears bigger than you can handle alone. having negative thoughts about self and others, being overly angry, and attempting suicide are classic examples of severe depression. it's 2006; you don't need to suffer any more.
a psychiatrist can listen to your concerns, offer some counseling, and prescribe medication that will help to restore the chemical imbalance in the brain you are experiencing. you didn't cause this affliction, but you can do something to corrrect it.
i know from experience that there is life after depression. i endured the claws and fangs of the illness for 6 months before i finally woke up a realized i needed professional help. i took myself up into the mts. 3x's to end all the pain and anguish. what stopped me each time was a line given to me on my first visit to my psychiatist (i still see him once a month)---SUICIDE IS A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO A TEMPORARY PROBLEM.
please see someone. it's a little intimidating, at first, but once you get talking you'll feel the release of all your pent up emotions.
good luck, friend. fight to live, not die.

It seems to me that you would like to be able to handle this on your own, and you seemed to actually have been doing a good job, at first.

It sounds like, if you do not want to be on any psychotropic drugs, to at least try to seek out Anger Management courses instead. There is nothing wrong with having a temper...but wanting to, or actually hurting yourself or others is a real danger.

At any rate, I would at the very least talk to your doctor. He can give you an anti-depressant at a low dose, which may help you significantly.

Why the low self-esteem? Why the poor outlook on life? Perhaps, if you can find the answers to these questions, others can be answered as well.

I know the feeling you have now. Numb, apathetic, more of a zombie like "who cares" attitude. This not only hurts you, but it will affect your other responsibilities as well. The last thing you want is to lose your job, or to have any other large stressors erupt at this fragile point in your life.

Hey, if all else fails, e-mail me. Sometime being able to vent to a non-biased third party makes it ok, if even for a little while.

Best of luck, and chin up!

Hi Hun! I think you should look into getting some help for your problem before you do hurt someone or yourself. There are therapist and other programs out there to help you. I think you have some emotional problems. There are many medications out there that can help control your emotions. The best thing to do is to go to your doctor and tell him all these things. Then he will be able to get you an appointment to see a med doctor. I hope you seek help there is no reason to walk around homocidal, suicidal and angery. Take care! Hugs! Von

I have that problem too. I think you should see a psychologist not a psychiatrists. Psychiatrists will just put you on drugs that will make you worse in the long run. a psychologist on the other hand will help you work through your problems one step at a time. Ask about Cognitive Behavior Therapy. It's hard work but it's very beneficial. I'm still working through my problems but now I know I'm getting better and I feel better about myself. And I'm actually happy. I used to take Zoloft and lexapro and xanax they only made me worse and I would have horrible mood swings. So I changed my diet, started exercising, (exercise releases natural "feel good" drugs) and I started seeing a psychologist. I could have gone to a psychiatrists but I didn't want to have to depend on drugs for the rest of my life...plus they have some really crappy side effects....I hope that helps

You are pouring your heart out so I would never dream of saying anything about how you are saying it but yes I agree you do need to seek professional help and just by seeing you have a problem is a step in the right direction itself....at least give yourself a pat on the back for that one...and do seek help as soon as possible. Good luck!

it sounds like u need to talk to someone.... you have issues that u know about and it doesnt seem like u enjoy your are pleased with some of the things u are thinking or doing. I would say u should go see a doctor before you hurt someone or yourself, because after you do the people in prison wont care why u did it just that u did it.

i had a friend talk with me about similar stuff (like the feelings you described), in the end he went to a psychitrist who referred him on to a psychologist.
He mentioned having some sort of anxiety condition and obsessive condition and ended up on meds for a little while - he seems to have pulled through okay now.
thoughts are just thoughts sometimes we get a bit too wrapped up in ourselves, everyone has some crazy stuff going through our heads sometimes. personally if i was in your place id just go and get it checked out it would be the morally right thing to do if other people could get hurt.

You may need to start taking some medication! I would think seeing a medical doctor and asking them to recommend someone or to put you on medicine should help! As long as you try to help yourself then someone should be able to help you!
