Are you sure it wasn't more than a sprain? Sometime x-rays don't show up a break right away My daughter had the same problem and it turned out she had a stress fracture in her heel that made the arch of her foot hurt and only got worse I suggest going to an orthopedic specialist and let them check it out Good Luck

i had the same problem, dislocated both my knees several times (sports and an accident on a ladder) and i have high arches i went to a podiatrist and had custom made orthotics and they are sooooooo much better, no pain at all. also, wear new balance shoes. insurance company gave me crap about covering the orthotics but i said the orthotics are $500 which you claim not to cover, the corrective surgery is $15,000 which you do cover. so if you will not pay the $500 then i will get surgery and you can pay the $15,000 after that, they paid for the orthotics at 100%.

arch supports might be helpful. You may want to see a podiatrist though since it has been going on for some time now.

I have the same problem. you have to either sit your foot differently, or wear an ace wrap for support. I also take aleve for it. hope this helps!

Go to the doctor. It's the best thing you can do.
