My hubby and I like Phil Mickelson.
We've always watched him and just loved his personality,
a real family man, and he just seems like a decent guy.
Why do you like your favorite golfer?

ssshadii : It's also a fact that celebrities' actions are magnified ten-fold by the media and people just eat it up. Don't believe everything you read.

We should all feel lucky to be able to say that we watched the greatest golfer to ever play the game. For years to come people will be talking about Tiger Woods. He is the one of the greatest sportsmen of all time. He is a great gentleman. He has basically set the standard for every other player on the PGA tour and every other sport for that matter. Am I the only one who noticed after Phil Mickelson ran into himself at the U.S. Open he has basically fallen off the map. I don't think its just by chance that as soon as Tiger stepped his game up it deflated the spirit that Mickelson had gained with trying to become the #1 player in the world. I'm sorry Phil but you might be trying to compete with Tiger Woods. But Tiger's only opponent is history.

Although he is probably an OK guy, Phil Michelson puts on a big act for TV. He started doing this a few years back to improve his image. It has apparently worked, as you have fallen for it.

Putting your wife and kids in front of the camera on Sundays and sign a few autographs in sight of the cameras. This goes a long way in image making.

All the tour golfers know the truth. This is not to say he is a bad guy, just that he needed to improve his image from the ill tempered spoiled brat image he had before. This improved image means BIG dollars in sponsorships and endorsement deals.

Oh well, now you know the truth.

Phil Mickleson is the biggest phoney in golf! It is a well known fact that the second he finishes up a tournament, he hands the kid back to the wife and is on his private plane to Vegas for the week. This is well documented, don't call me a lyer! Tiger Woods is the only real class act golfer out there, considering he is more active in charity, is outspoken and blunt when asked a question, and he plays better golf by the way. The rest of the sport is filled with rich ***-holes who are pissed at him because they actually have to work out now in order to keep their jobs. Those poor bastards!

Don't be hatin' on lefty. Sure he likes to party and gamble, but hey who doesn't. You can just tell that Phil is a one of a kind. I greatly respect Tiger, but my favs. are the true personalitys out there like Phil, and Big J.
I like Fred Couples and Geoff Ogilvy too.
