Isn't that the same as accepting that the earth's surface may be curved (because you can see the horizon), but rejecting the notion that our planet may in fact be spherical?

Creationist doe not reject the idea of natural selection(this is what you probably mean by macroevolution). But using natural selection to jump to evolution and saying the people once were fish which once were slime is a a theory, not a fact

That is way too difficult a concept for religious nuts to fathom. If they can't get their head around the concept that the 'prophecy' of Jesus' messiahship contradicts the free will argument they are always using to condemn people, then they are never going to get this one.

PS Nice avatar.

I just know that a lot can happen in 4-5 billion years. Why not one animal changing into another?

And, I don't see why God would have done it any other way.

That is, if there were a God.

Or believing in erosion but refusing to believe that's how the grand canyon was formed? Sadly enough, that's a true story, from a "question" I answered several weeks ago.

I think you are describing evolutionism, aren't you? Creationism accepts the unseen and actively seeks it. Again, this is a simplistic generalization. Science, itself, advances because someone suspects the unknown may, in fact, become known.

no, because there is proof that the earth is a sphere, even the Bible tells us that. Isaiah 40:22. Not to mention that it has been observed. macroevolution however has not been observed, and there is no proof to support it either.
