Tell him by dropping hints. If he doesn't understand that way then you'll have to find a different way to let him know.

Don't open up, for goodness sakes! Close your legs already and worry about school!!!
Study hard, learn everything they can teach you, find a great job after college and make your own way in the world.
Once you are on your own two feet, find a nice man that complements you as a couple, isn't intimidated by a successful woman, and has a job of his own.
OR, just do the usual and start messing around and become another child having children and living with your parents or in government subsidized housing getting W.I.C., welfare, food stamps, and government cheese.
Find the option that makes sense to you. Good Luck!

you have to have a close guy friend first. like last year i had a friend who knew who i liked and i knew he liked. he ate lunch together all the time and knew everything about each other. once you realize that guys are really cool and not that scary you will be really comfortable witrh them. i am still nervous to say i like someone, but it is alot eaiser for me. if i like someone and they ask me if i like them i say yeah. and they are like whoa! no one has ever just given me a straight answer before. it makes you seem like you have a ton of confidence even if you have none. it is truly amazing! btw, i can totally relate. in 7th grade i was petrified of guys. now im in 9th grade and realize that guys aren't all that different.

you shouldnt go right out and ask him out get to know him and drop some more hints about how you feel if you jump right into it he might get intimated and think your moving a little fast

just talk to him and dont be shy . i am in middle school to and to think in 4th grade i was sososo shy. and today i came up to this 8th grader and told he was hot right in front of his gf
