I heard of a believe that says that without both physical snd spiritual nothing would exist. the spirit and the material are inseperable and there are two kinds of spirit. There is the Spirit of God and the spirit against God. I think this would be defineing the spirit as energy and energy can't be seperated from matter.

Is there biblical support for that?

Actually it was Gods Spirit comingling with matter that caused the soul to exist. The soul of man is the residual effect of Spirit and Matter coming in contact. Like the bible says, God breathed into the clay and man became a living soul. It is the spirit dwelling in man that enables the soul to animate the body.
If you imagine a light bulb as an analogy the Glass, filament and whatever other physical property is present this is analoqous to the body. The spirit is like the electrical current and the light that is emmitted is the soul.
Your definition of spirit being energy is not exactly right. It is more of an essence than an energy but that does not mean that energy could not be said to be a property of or characteristic of the essence of ones spirit.
Plenty of biblical support for this.

Nope, not quite right.
You (a Spirit that looks Exactly like your Body) are going to come out of you Body for Good (what we call death) one day.
Then the Judgement, for Heaven or Hell.
The Spiritual Realm (GODs Kingdom) makes Possible the Physical Realm.
Thats why the Scientist can keep splitting up those atoms, but never get to the other Side of Matter, which is the Spiritual Realm.

The bible was written 2,000 years ago by non-physicists. I rather doubt that Matter = Energy was a popular dinner topic. ;-)
