I'm going to make a special dinner for my husband for the "Lost" premiere on Wednesday night... what foods should I make? Please give realistic answers... obviously I'm not going to make wild boar! Thank you!

Why not a good pork roast - you can always call it wild boar. Add some juniper berries, sage, bay leaf, white wine - good stuff not cooking wine - to a roasting pan place the pork on a rack - this allows it to cook all around without getting soggy - roast until the internal temp reads 165 - let stand for about 5 minutes - this will bring the temp up to 170 + - strain and pour the pan drippings into a sauce pan add a little more wine to the roasting pan to help deglaze the good brown bits in the bottom. Strain that into the liquid in the sauce pan for a super gravy. If there isn't enough liquid you can add some water.

Make fried chicken with potato salad and green beans. You can never go wrong with chicken.

That's such a great idea. My husband loves Lost. I never watch it. I should make him something special too.
