Me and this girl I really like, Nancy, have been best friends for a few months now. I really like her a lot, and I want to ask her to go out with me. This is her (www.myspace.com/nnanny5779) and this is me (www.myspace.com/ryukil). How do I pop the question to her? How do I figure out if she just wants to be friends?

erm... Start w/ asking her to coffee or something... like: "I'd like some coffee, would u like some or would u like to come w/ me?"

Then ask her if she's seeing anyone at the moment. :-)

It's hard to explain whether she likes you or not... Does she usually look at you? Does she talk to you a lot? Does she admire your stories? Does she have interest in any of the stories you told her????

If you answer yes to most of these question, she's interested. :)

Good luck!

Use your own words of course but how about saying something like, "Nancy, I really like hanging out with you and being friends. I think you're one of the coolest girls I know. Actually I like hanging with you so much I've found myself wondering how we'd be as a couple. I mean I not saying I think we're perfect for each other or anything goofy like that and don't want to foul up what we have now, but I'd hate to miss out on something more with someone I like so much, if it could really be there, and I didn't want to be a punk and let the opportunity slip past if you had been thinking about it too. I'd like to find out if you're up for it. What do you think?"

Moooooooooooooooooooost likely she wants to be your friend. Or she would have given you signals by now. However ask her. Its going to be akward, and yes, it might send the friendship down a couple of notches. But if you already like her like that, it will get worse the more you see her, and then it will get REALLY akward by the time you start sending her dark poetry, mixed cd's, and lose sleep over it.

There is a lot of things you could do, but the best is to let her know what you are feeling. If she is in to you the same way, then you are set. If she isn't, then you know where you stand. Unless she knows how you feel, how will you ever know?

Just go ahead and ask her. The only downside is you might be in the dreaded Friend zone!!!

♥just ask♥, if she says no, maybe u can still be friends. then give it some time, and maybe u can ask her again and she might say yes! ♥if u 2 r friends, that means she aleready knows u, so maybe she likes u too, but shes shy!♥

You got to muster up the courage to ask her. Don't make a big deal of it, just do it.

tell her...
"i really like you as a friend and now it's gotten stronger. i would like to explore this feelings if you are inteested."
would be a good openning remark. and depending on her answer....... you figure it out.
