I was just asked out by a foreign guy that I work with. Since I am shy and it is really hard to turn someone down in person I didn't really refuse him, but didn't really say yes. I gave him my cell number though. I don't know why, but I feel bad leaving him hanging.

just keep it friendly over the phone for now. if he grows on you, then you can go out. if you don't think it's gonna work, at least you've established the "friend" thing.

How about just going for coffee? Or, if you are uncomfortable dating someone from work, tell him that. He does deserve some kind of response, though - don't you hate to be left hanging, waiting for someone to call you?

thats our job.. leaving men in suspense is a great thing.. dont you know that saying play hard to get men like a challenge.. if you answer to quickly it gives the appearance you are easy and stuff..

first of all it's not a good idea dating someone you work with but theres nothing wrong with getting to know him first before you say yes, so let him call but know him better before you date
