Alcohol = 7 per gram
The calories from vodka are all derived from the alcohol, unlike rum, rye, beer and wine. I'm not sure about gin, don't drink it so I don't care.

Food is regulated by the FDA, which enforces the rules about nutritional labelling. Alcohol is regulated by ATF (alcohol tobacco and firearms), which has no such regulations.

80 proof distilled spirits (which includes vodka) have 64 calories per ounce. All the calories come from alcohol. Distilled spirits (vodka, gin, rum, whiskey) don't have any other significant sources of calories.
