What the hell?
I'm sure there are lots of communists who believe in God, and lots who don't.
You will never know the answer to whom created the universe.
If I had that answer, I'm sure I'd be rich, and very very smart!

Communism does not imply a religious belief, or a lack there of. By definition Christ was a Communist. We have demonized Communism in the United States for so long that many of the myths surrounding it when our anti-Communism propaganda was running strong are now accepted as fact. It is ignorance of the subject on the part of those making that statement.

Communist leaders in the USSR and communist China were usually somewhat atheist, mostly because they believed that the influence religious leaders exerted on their followers would corrupt them against the leaders/ dictators. As an atheist, may I ask, who created God? Surely everything must come from something yes?

The communists banned religion so people would only follow their ways, like so many so called thinking people would like to do now. Some still practiced religion but secretly. I am not a communist by the way.

Not all Communists don't believe in god. Communism simply removes religion from politics. But depending on the party, some want if they ever get power to slowly remove religion through propaganda
