Procedure B, how you going to find god if you aren't 'tuned' into the Spiritual world already, then your just going to believe whatever some other person, group or book tells you?

Procedure B makes more sense. Why? It would seem more logical to pursue a path and find something (realization), rather than to beleive what you are told, and attempt to live that life, all the while not doing a very good job at it...

Too many beleivers are under the assumption that, because they beleive, they are saved and can act in any fashion that they want. This is inherrantly a wrong way of thinking. Me, being atheist, believe that we should live according to the Golden Rule, and if we find "God" (as you state) along the way, then so be it.

Procedure B sounds interesting. If you take the time to pursue a spiritual path, it will help you to learn and understand more on choosing the right direction toward GOD. In the state of mind that the world was in, we can't even reach GOD unless we go through our big brother Jesus, first.

Well, one cannot normally find God without seeking him, so procedure A is more chancy. Some people have found God without seeking him--like Saul of Tarsus, e.g.--but it seems to be the exception rather than the rule.

I think procedure C, with item one being "Seek God," is a good way. Not the only way, but a place to actively begin. Because if I'm sitting around secretly hoping for God to reveal himself to me when I'm either not actively seeking or else actively slamming those who do seek him (like Saul of Tarsus, again), and if God doesn't elect to reveal himself to me, then I will die without having attempted to make any effort to know God at all. Which will be too bad for me.

Today, I like procedure B.
I've done step 1 of procedure A, but was not motivated to continue on to step 2. What's the point, if it's all good?

I go back and forth btwn the two.

I think most people follow procedure A since living a spiritual life doesn't even occur to them until they "find God". Good question.

Procedure B, but without expectations.
Procedure B.2) is totally uncalled for.

Reach for God and he'll put you on the right path.

I think either path is a good one. Whatever works for you.
