When I am recording a programme onto my Sky+ box I am unable to watch another programme at the same time. When I try to watch the other prog it just says there is no signal. Is it right or should I be able to watch another channel ?

goto services system setup signal test you should have 4 lines if only 2 check on back of sky box a cable may have come off if so reconect hope this helps

You should certainly be able to record one Sky program whilst watching another. Checking on the Internet, I see there are software problems with some sky+ boxes.
Once you have set your box to record you should simply be able to return to the main menu screen and select the program you wish yo watch

You should be able to watch another channel. You need to ring sky, they might have to clean up your hard drive or change your box.

yes you should be able to watch another channel, you should also be able to record two programs at the same time
