How many times a year does a budgie moult?

The budgie’s first moult is at the age of ten or twelve weeks.
It may moult completely and quickly, or just cast a few feathers now and again.
October is the usual month for the moult but it may last for as long as 8 weeks.

Sometime three - four times year if breeding.

I have had an english budgie for 4 years, and she seems to molt a lot. she's healthy, so it must be okay.

My budgies molt jst before summer and winter., some times more..

I read it was only supposed to be twice a year, but mine molted probably twice that much.

I haven't kept track of exactly how many times mine has, but he and my nanday conure are molting now.
