So this guy and I are into each other, he suggested hanging out last weekend but kinda sorta blew me off at the last minute and said that he was drowning in work (over text message) and he'd call tomorrow, sorry for the late notice. (?) Then he DID call the next day and left a nice message saying that he'd explain everything when he spoke to me...so I returned his call and he didn't pick up, I left a message and got no call back. He works out where I work so maybe he figured he'd just talk to me when he comes in next...what the hell, did i get blown off?

Yea horribly also. I can understand the work thing. Next time you see him then just kinda ignore him. If he says he wants to go out again say your to busy. Then you take the ball and make him pay. Lead him along next time, ten bucks says he will love it.

A lot of guys are very successful at playing the "bad boy", the guy who does things just like this guy has done with you. For some reason plenty of you gals seem to fall for that. I'm not saying you have, I'm just saying a lot of guy get a lot of girls that way.
Since you left him a message last I certainly wouldn't call him again. You'd probably be better off just to forget about it and if he pops back up again you give him another chance (because he really might have gotten swamped with work), but if he screws up again, shut the door on him for good.

Yup. And for some reason guys that are totally into you can be the biggest flakes int he world. I hate that!! I have had that same thing happen to me like 3 times. But I think the hilarious thing is that right when you get fed up with it...they call, and you get sooo excited and totally forget they ever blew you off in the first place.

I think so...A real gentleman would make sure that if he couldn't see you that he told you so you wouldn't feel as if you were getting the brush off. You say that you work together...does he talk to you at night, do you call him or does he call you, if you call him is it his home phone or a cell phone...Maybe there is someone already in his life. I'd cut him loose and find a real guy that is crazy about you and only you!

There could be a lot of reasons why. Just wait and see if you see him and if he talks to you and explains what happened then it's up to you to follow your instincts and see if he is telling you the truth or a bunch of made up crap. Only you can tell. And if you feel it's a bunch of crap dump his *** to the curb. And find a better one!

dont rush to think hes blowing you off, its a mistake that will only make you look controlling. when you do get a hold of him act normal, if he trys to give an answer just nicely tell him that he doesn't have to explain him self to you. show a little trust and have faith.

I believe that he is just playing with your mind. If he keeps telling you that he's going to talk to you and do this and do that and never does then he ain't about nothing. He is just playing with your mind and you need to just leave him alone. Or maybe you can let him know how you feel about him blowing you off. Maybe he doesn't realize that he's doing it.
