Play a fair game. Either tell both that you date 2 people at the same time OR you have to make up your mind.
To hedge your "bet", you might want to see if the other boy like you first if you think the 1st one might dump you when you tell him that you want to date others....

You put closure on your current boyfriend.. You tell him that you need some space or you need to find yourself.. then give it a month or two and start dating the new guy you like.. But remember the grass is not always greener on the other side..

Sounds like you want to have your cake and eat it too. No one will respect you if you are committed in a relationship and date another guy. If it is only casual then go for it and the "boy" will have to deal with it.

option a) get over the crush on the other guy
option b) break up with your boyfriend (because you're obviously humoring the thought of cheating)
option c) be single and don't get messed up in relationships if you aren't able to keep yourself from wandering.

the only way is to break up with him. or you can forget about the boy you like and just go out with your boyfriend still. that is the harder way though

just dumb the guy your with and move on! Just say " i just want us to be friends" and move on! You only have one life so why are you going to spend it with someone you don't truly like?????
