He tells me he will call and then says he forgets to. When confronted, he says he doesn't like making phone calls. All of his other girlfriends called him in the past.

It can mean he is lazy or he just has no imagination. I like for a guy to be totally into me and willing to show interest in me. If he expects you to make all the calls what else in the future will he expect you to do for him. Always think to the future and never be anyone's doormat!
