I have a column "K", with different prices in the cells. I want to adjust pricing, by multiplying each cell by .965

Is there a formula to change the whole column, or do I HAVE to enter the formula for each cell?

You don't have to re-enter the formula for each cell. Just type .965 in a blank cell in your spreadsheet and hit Ctrl-C to copy the contents. Highlight the entire column of figures you need to adjust and go to Edit, Paste Special, Multiply. That will automatically multiply all the values in the column by that number. After you finish doing this, you can delete the single cell that you entered the value into.

You should be able to enter it for one cell and then copy and paste it in to all the others in one go by highlighting the rest of the column and pasting the formula

you can insert a column next to the one with the prices (that would be column L), then fill in the formule: L1 = 0.965*K1 and than copy down this formula in column L. you will than have the adlusted price in column L

L1=K1 *.965

drag down by clicking on L1 and getting solid cross in lower right corner of cell- excel should recongnize formula and apply it to all cells- click on cells to see if it worked
