Most of the prophets didn't see God, some even requested to see but were not granted because they would not be able to comprehend the Vision.

So if prophets cannot see the God, why do you think St.Paul could see Him? Do you think he was cheated by Satan, and saw Satan instead?

He claimed to see God on his trip to Damascus, and after that he wrote many dubious and contradictory verses in Bible.

The similar incident happened in the time of the Muslims to the companion of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Sayyidna Abdul Qadir al-Jilani. When Shaytan (Satan) came to Sayyidna Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, and filled up the space (between the horizon and the sky) pretending to be Allah (God), and said to him, 'O my beloved servant Abdul Qadir, I am fully satisfied with you. From now on, don't pray, don't fast, don't do any of the obligations of Islam.' Immediately he knew that this was Shaytan talking to him, and he said, 'Stop it, shut up, you're the enemy of Allah!

So he knew that it was Satan not God, unlike St. Paul who got cheated by Satan.

Why would even God show His light to Paul? While many prophets didn't even see the light?

Jesus (peace be upon him) was a normal man (prophet) not God, that's why nobody got blinded.

You have made a nice analogy, I knew about Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani seeing satan who was claiming to be God but i had never thought about that Paul had a similar vision when he saw Jesus Christ during his way to Damascus. One more proof that Paul saw a Satan rather than Jesus Christ is that he saw Jesus Red Eyed. He should have realised that he is a satan and not Jesus.

The request to my Christian brothers and sisters is to realise that before it gets too late. Satan has misled you in making you believe that you can have adultery, you can consume pork you do not need to be circumcised and Jesus is God.

Realise it before it gets too late.......

prophets can see God and his name is Yeshua. On another note no we can not see God the father because he is so Holy that to look upon his face would kill us. That is why moses had to turn his back when he spoke to him. Keep in Mind paul was blinded by the light of God!
The Koran is the most contridicatory piece of crap ever written. To defend the many contridictions Muhamed told people that God can change his mind when ever he wants. The general rule is whenever there is a contradiction in the Koran you are to ignore the first scripture and go with the later one.
I worship a God that never changes his mind and is the same as he was from the start. Muslims worship a Moon God that can't make his mind up!

Paul, when he was on his trip to Damascus, saw the Lord, and was saved. He was knocked off his horse, fell to the ground, and was given what's called a revelation.

Wasn't just any revelation, it was according to Romans 16:25, The Revelation of the Mystery. This was kept secret since the world began. In it, God explains to Paul, a previous Christian KILLER, that he was to be the spokesman/apostle to the Gentiles regarding what the merit of Christ's blood on the cross accomplished for our sin debt to God.

Genesis through John doesn't show one thing...not ONE thing about Christ's blood being an atonement for mankinds' sin, but people read what was given to Paul, and get it all mixed up. The lawkeeping that had to be done previously is now replaced by grace due to the ultimate sacrifice, the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

True believers no longer tithe, water baptize, go through any religious rules, laws, ordinances, regulations, etc. we're saved by grace through faith. We're free to do what we want, but why go off the deep end with bad things, knowing that God paid for our sins with his life!?

Anywho....that's the basic answer. For more, see these websites...

Um, I don't know where you are getting your information, but Paul never claimed to have seen God. He was blinded by a bright light, and heard a voice speaking to him.

I don't know what contradictory verses you speak of either, that is a massive unsubstantiated and possibly even blasphemous claim.

If it was Satan, why would he say "Why are you persecuting Me?" and "I am Jesus, who you are persecuting"? Saul was persecuting Christians, "Little Christs," the followers of Jesus, not satanists. It said immediately after he received his sight, he went to the synagogue and "preached Christ" to them. Not exactly what you think Satan would have his followers do.

Try reading the Bible. It's a good thing to do.

Booyakasha.

why do you slam down christianity? the quran makes it an obligation for muslims to use the Bible and Torah.

anyways, but no, Saint Paul did not see God. also, jesus was God, remember that. It was god in a human form. and plenty of ppl saw that. And when he was blinded by the light.. that doesn't mean he saw god.. it was just saying there was light. i have a friend who was athiest, and really sad, and depressed, and going to kill herself and her two daughters, she was poor, and all that. it was really dark at night and she says it got really light. she believes god was telling her something, so she bought a Bible, and went to church. She now lives in a great home, loves her kids, very happy, and so forth. he husband got a job, and she finally got a masters in college, and yeah.. God is great!! but seeing light doesn't mean that's seeing God.. and no one said you couldn't hear God!! let's not forget that God told Adam and Eve a lot of stuff not to do.

A prophet is only a prophet if He proves himself by preforming miracles from God. Mohamed is not a prophet.

Christ's followers knew Paul was sent by God because He blinded Paul and then gave him his sight back.

Be rude to human beings- in spite of everything- they are there only as stepping stones! no longer some thing is off limits to enhancing your lot in life- mendacity, dishonest, stealing as long as you could destroy out with it! you'll then meet devil. devil, boiled right down to it really is organic essence, is the self. MY will be carried out.
