What's a good indoor activity for 2, two year olds and a 9 month old that won't explode my house or deafen me?

Two ideas -
1- an indoor picnic
2 - a pretend adventure - go to the moon etc. I did this with my kids. We drew pictures for the inside of the spaceship and made paper astronaut costumes - then we blasted off in our ship and practiced "moon walking" around the house. This became a favorite game.

There are tons of simple things that you can do. Do you have any craft supplies? With a little help, this can be fun for the 2 year olds and the 9 month old can have fun crinkling paper and stuff. Play dough is also great. If they have to get up and running, try putting on some music and dancing around. Run the tub with cool water and let them "go swimming" read stories, play hide and seek, duck duck goose, just chase them around and wrestle! Have Fun!!!

Staple two paper plates together and put a few dried beans or macaroni inside.P ut some ribbon, yarn,or streamers on the edges. Let the kids color the plates(scribbles!) and they have quiet tamberines.Even the baby can share in the music making(I wouldn't put the streamers or very long ribbons on the baby's)! Make a hat from poster board or construction paper by cutting a 2 or 3 in wide strip long enough to go around their heads and tape or staple(stapel ends need to be on outside of the band)the ends together. Put feathers ,ribbons etc on them and you are ready! You can lead the marching band by carrying a wooden spoon like a baton and tell them to march 2 3 4,march 2 3 4 !You may need to pull the baby in a wagon or riding toy with the 2 yrs olds marching behind. You can add a comb harp also. Take a piece of wax paper large enough to cover a small comb, without tail, and place a rubber band on it to keep it on. Then the child hums against it to make the sound.Clean fun and only a little noise but the kids will get their exercise because they will all want to be the leader and take turns with the different instruments!Have fun! Baking cookies is always a great rainy day activity. You can make them aprons from hand towels tied around their waists or necks to keep their clothes a little cleaner. The 2 yr olds can make balls from the dough and put them on the cookie pans to help. You can give the baby some dough to play with also. The baby's ball(?) can be cooked too if there is any left to bake! Messy but you will be bonding and the kids learning to follow directions. They will also remember the fun and you can tell them next time it rains that they can do it again!Make sure they have picked up their toys first and you can use this as an incentive to get their toys put away.Another thing I do with my grandkids is to have trash art! I save boxes(Little Debbie, allergy meds, shoe, rice, cereal, velvetta, tea, etc) ,newspapers, toilet paper rolls ,paper towel rolls, etc and pile it on the floor. I give them scissors ,tape, glue and let them make whatever their imaginations come up with. With your younger ones you may need to just use tape that you pull off in small sizes for them. They can also use boxes to stack and run over with their riding toys or throw nerf balls at.. Or see who can stack their boxes the highest and fastest. The baby will have a ball knocking them down. The kids will get tired and mom will get to rest when the kids have their nap!Have a great day!

We continually did good administration while it rained on the driving college (we had 3 outdoors faculties and if it replaced into raining very complicated training could be cancelled). We additionally wiped sparkling tack. as quickly as at Pony club camp (my first year while i replaced into approximately 9) our instructor have been given a good form of placed up-it notes and wrote factors of the horse on them and used a quiet pony that between the older experience individuals had and we caught the placed up-it notes on the place we concept the factors have been - pony regarded a sprint mortified (a "why do I placed up with this" expression), in spite of the undeniable fact that it replaced into super exciting. perhaps chop up those little ones up into communities and notice who can get the main precise in the quickest time or some thing? We additionally did a quiz a pair of situations on the driving college (factors of the bridle, factors of the horse, have been shown photos and had to call products-they have been % up photos and rather complicated to wager- etc, etc.)

For the 2 year olds I would suggest playdoh. It's amazing how long they can play with that. They can play with it together giving you time for the 9 month old.
