What ever your gun shoots best. Each gun prefers a different load. What you need to do is buy a bunch of different loads and shoot all of them to determine which one is best out of YOUR gun

For deer hunting I would recommend around 150 grain bullet. You should take a few different types of rounds from different manufacturers out to the range and put some rounds thru it to see which is the most accurate for your rifle.

I'd see if the 150-165 grain loads shoot. I don't think their is a dimes worth of difference between Hornaday, Remington, Winchester and Federal. This of course depends on the bullet manufacturer being loaded.

Try hand loading ,I Have loaded for nearly 30 years now with good results. this way u can tailor your loads for the rifle u are shooting . 150 - 165 gr. bullet works good for white tails. IMR 4064 work great in my 06
