wouldn't it make more sense to worship the stadium they were playing in as compared to worshiping either of them?

Not the stadium, it's an inanimate object. Maybe the ref? That's who's really calling the shots.

Perhaps, unless you knew Who would win ahead of time. Or, if your step-brother, Christ, or your Father, God, were on one of the teams. For me it's all about relationships. It's hard to have a relationship with a stadium.

lol. interesting. i saw this cool pic of a godly character playing against a dark (satan) character, and they were playing a game of chess where the people looked like actual humans. was interesting and interperative. much like what your stating. perhaps thats whats really going on. maybe we are just a game to them. much like that of "The Sims"
