A true Christian is one that acts as Christ would have acted. Someone that doesn't judge others, someone kind and compassionate, someone that doesn't call people stupid, or *******.

Notwithstanding all the trolls' comments, (they are correct in a way, just not the one they intended) there are less real Christians than the number of claimants.
As it is written: "Go in through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is spacious that leads to destruction, and many people are entering by it. How narrow is the gate and how constricted is the road that leads to life, and few are the people who find it!" (Matthew &:13-14)
And
"Not everyone who keeps saying to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will get into the kingdom of heaven, but only the person who keeps doing the will of my Father in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)
For those who asked, Jesus stated that this is the way to determine who follows Him: "This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35)

Why would someone claim to be a christian if they aren't? Whats so great about the religion anyway? Not to be mean or anything.

Yrue christians don't go on sites like this to tell everyone that they are christians, so I guess here the percentage of true christians is 0

I think your definition has wiped out the majority of the Christian population. Certainly precious few on Y!A.

I'm sure it varies from time to time but if the scriptures give us a clue it is always called the remnant that are the true children of God.
