i prefer, pencil skirts, tight but not too tight, a slit at the back and black thigh highs with the seam, 4 inch heels with a strap around the ankle...sets off the skirt just right...sexy without being slutty.

It would certainly depend on the age and shape of the lady.
On a slender young women, a pencil skirt looks fabulous.
Short skirts on young women should never be worn by overwieght ladies.
Choose the length of skirt that is appropriate for the occasion.

I think it depends more on your body shape. If your not fairly thin, and fairly tall, shorter Pencil skirts just don't look right. If your fairly short, and a little curvy, long flowy skirts make you look shorter and rounder! For me, I go for A-line skirts that are at or just above or just below the knee. They look really good on my body type!

As a guy, they both have pros and cons. Long tight pencil skirts shorten your pace considerably, but short skirts are so teenagerish. try something calf length and cotton, best of both worlds.
And by the way girls, those of you who wear those really short skirts? Makes you look like a prostitute.

I can't say I've heard the term "pencil skirt" before. Can you regale me please?
