In the case of a particularly heinous and gruesome crime, the prosecution may feel that the jury should see all the photos related to the crime to impress upon them the viciousness of the crime. Explain how this strategy could backfire for the prosecution.

Photos do NOT either help nor hurt a trial, It may however speed things along. UNLESS the photos have been tampered with; there may not be enough evidence to commit the guilty.
