I've heard many Christians state that all children are pure, innocent beings, and if they die young, they automatically go to Heaven.
Why do these "pro-life" Christians demand that children be born to people who are unable to properly care for them? While adoption is an option, it's very costly, and you rarely find Christians adopting poor innocent children from around the world...
Why on earth would someone want to put a child through Hell on earth as opposed to going to Heaven?

Some of these answers are hilarious.
"What if someone decided before you were born that your life simply wasn't worth living?" I wouldn't be alive, it's simple as that. Old argument.

That my friend , is a load. So , your saying , the choice should be murder or child abuse? Do you think that you have a right to help them along to heaven?
Adoption is costly but, indeed there are many christians people waiting to adopt. You need to do a little study.
We are worth a Son to God.

Adoption is always an option. I found websites while I was pregnant where the family would pay ALL of the girls expenses. What a way to go! I also know a Christian family that has adopted three siblings from another country. I don't remember where they were from, but they spent a year or two in an orphanage because their parents couldn't take care of them. I know of crisis pregnancy centers that help a woman through all stages of pregnancy, and help her choose an adoption agency if she wants. My cousin is considering adopting an older girl. They haven't decided for sure yet, and she could come from anywhere. I would love to adopt. I've considered fostering children, or becoming a social worker.
Keep in mind, most abortions are done by older women who don't want any more children. Most men don't ejaculate during rape (learned that in college psych), so pregnancy is rare. Incest victims generally hold on to their babies, reasoning it is someone who needs their love, and someone to love them. I think we need to look at the reasons people choose abortions, trying to fix those. Adopting is not easy, I'm sure it's not easy to abort, and I'm sure it's not easy to give your baby up. I think the whole process needs to be smoothed so more people can choose adoption, and so more women can feel it is an option for them.

Can you truly say that you would have wanted your mother to abort you so that you could go to Heaven?
I happen to be "pro-no-sex" until you are married and able to take care of your child.
I know many people who do adopt children. I also know people
who are foster parents to kids that are unadoptable. That is to say that they are caring for the child until the parent is able to.
Have you looked into the adoption or foster care of a poor innocent child from another part of the world?
Paul says that being with the Lord is better than this life. But he knew that he was put here for a reason and that reason was to help others learn about Jesus so that they could go to Heaven.

Why are you falsly accusing Christians?
I know that through Christ a young mother can be the best mom for her child even though she is single. Also, to have a say in who adopts her child if she feels she can't. There is government help available also.
Having a life on earth is a blessing from God. Eventually person goes to heaven. If person grows up to do the devils work of destruction and end up in hell, then I guess it would have been best if child died earlier though.
Christians don't want to put a child through Hell on earth. But are we God to tell mothers to abort their babies it is their choice because they would be horrible mothers? Also, why not consider the choice of the unborn child or the father?
Shadowolf,
Everyone is born with the sin nature. They are still innocent. Innocence is lost when people purposely disobey. It is called rebellion. This causes spiritual death, where a person needs to be born of God. Those redeemed by the blood of the Lamb go to heaven. So do the little ones, because they are innocent in that they have not knowingly sinned against God. Also the light of God shines on all children born into this world. Age of accountability & rebellion go hand in hand. Either choose God or rebel against God.

You are so wrong. Do your research before you make a blanket statement. Christians as well as non-believers are adopting children from Africa, Russia, and girls from China just to name a few countries. There are 12 adopted children in my church alone from foreign countries. Christians just don't believe that a woman should be able to suck the baby out of her womb just because it is an inconvenience.
Steven Curtis Chapman, a contemporary christian singer, has founded an organization who will pay for the foreign adoption if you qualify. However, most Christians I know didn't need it because God provides a way no matter the price.

God gives us free will so if you want to choose to murder children before they are born that is Okay as long as I have the same rights. When is it ok to kill someone? Where do you draw the line? It isn't just "Poor" people that have abortions in fact I'd wager that more "rich" people have abortions than poor ones. simply because we as a society don't wish to be bothered by caring for a child doesn't make it right to end it's life. And people don't go to heaven or hell when they die that is a myth. Heaven and hell will both wait till the end of time.

The fact that people know they have this option allows for more mistake pregnancies to happen, and if abortions were much harder to get and were notorious for being unsafe then there would be fewer unwanted pregnancies. I believe this is an undisputeable fact. It is a sound logical argument.
Also, God wants souls to choose him in this free-will environment of this Earthly life and not to just go be with him. That is the whole point of our existence, us humans, to be beings created in his own image , as in free- thinkers, that some of us who chose to obey God and truly seek God in submission Chose that.
God can create automaticly submissive or loving beings but we live in an environment were it is not that naturally easy to just believe in a God. Thats what he wants and the rest of us who freely chose to see the world, universe , God , in our own ideas, well, at least we had THIS earthly life!!!

As a Christian it does to me too yet it truly is not any longer how the Bible describes heaven. it truly is how those who're unaware of God's note describe it. if you're fairly attracted to what heaven will be like, then i like to recommend that you get a replica of the e book titled "Heaven" by skill of Randy Alcorn. it really is the most authentic e book ever written on the issue in accordance to scripture. you'd be surprised at how little you knew about heaven.

Murder is murder.
Life doesn't begin at birth, that's the arrival!
These people that choose to have their babies and put them through hell because they don't want to adopt them out, will be judged (not by me).
As for those that do put their children up for adoption, have at least made the best decision for their child and usually for themselves as well.
You judging anyone for their decisions is really unbecoming!
Do you think that Jews, JW, Mormons or Islam accepts abortion? If you do, you are sadly mistaken.
So, what exactly do you have to back up your statements? Just your opinion?

I'm with you, although your argument is weak. I just think of it as the fact that no child should EVER have to be born into an unwanted, uncaring, unloving home. Christians, I ask this- What's better
1. A child being aborted, no pain, no misery, no crappy life.
2. A child being born into a family that doesn't want him or her, the child is neglected and abused. The child grows up with psychological problems. The child grows up to abuse, rape, kill.
The latter could be a slight stretch, but how do we know. Most bad people out there were raised bad. Why in the hell would we subject a child to such cruelty?
