Is this in response to an earlier question? I presume, if this is indeed the case, that people opt for terry nappies in preference to Tena Lady, Depend, Poise and other leading brand incontinence pads and underwear for the same reasons people use terry nappies for infants - environmental factors. It is far more environmentally friendly to use terry nappies as they can be washed and reused, and as such, far less wastage is produced.

Don't much fancy the idea however, as it may be difficult to disguise them beneath your clothing, leading to a wardrobe full of jumper dresses and loose fitting bottoms.

Because the most populated people in the uk are old people in which most of them are bed stricken or in which they have been involved in an accident with consequences like broken spinal cord or amputated legs or also those who are confined to a wheel chair have no other option than to use the nappies that's why it's popular.
