Ok, listen up....
From JOY OF COOKING cookbook

3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon
2 tablespoons = 1 "fluid" ounce
thus 6 teaspons = 1 "fluid" ounce

I am not sure if this converts exactly the same if using dry measurements.

Hope this helps you out.

Found online:.
1 tablespoon (tbsp.) = 3 teaspoons (tsp.) = 1/2 fluid ounce (fl. oz.) which repeats what JOY OF COOKING SAYS BASICALLY.
