BEST PEANUT BUTTER BALLS

1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups corn flakes

Bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for ONLY 3 minutes (any longer the balls will be hard).

Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Pour over corn flakes and mix. Wait a few minutes, then roll into balls.

Peanut Butter Balls don't have rice krispies or chocolate in them. Here is my recipe, that everyone loves.
Peanut Butter Balls
1cup peanut butter
1cup confectioners sugar
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons melted butter
stir together and make into balls, then roll in coconut. Keep in refrigerator,til serving.

Buckeyes

1-1/2 boxes Powdered Sugar
1 jar Crunchy Peanut Putter
2 sticks butter (softened)

Icing (melt in top of double boiler):
1 pkg. Semi-Sweet Morsels
1/4 lb. Paraffin

Combine all ingredients. Form 1-inch balls and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Use toothpick to dip in icing and place on waxed paper.

buckeyes
1 bag peanut butter chips
1 can vanilla icing
powdered sugar
semi sweet or milk choclate disks

melt the peanut butter chips and stir in the vanilla icing and then add enough powdered sugar so it isn't super sticky
melt the choclate and then dip the peanut butter balls in it and put them in the fridge to get solid

I don't use rice krispies. i use peanut butter,& powdered sugar. mix together untill it is no longer sticky, and sweet enought to taste. dip in chocolate, let dry, and you are done.
