chippy: The buildings collapsed basically straight down because of the failure of the trusses from the extreme heat and damage caused by the planes. The walls of the building held the fall mostly straight because it collaped on the inside with each floor falling straight down onto the next.

thankgodformaryjane: Put down the pipe and use your head. Yes, I do know that this conspiracy junk is untrue.

chippy: 1st off I am not religious, just not a gullible idiot. Those 'explosion blasts' were the effect of thousands of tons pushing down and spewing material out of the building. Here's an experiment for you.
Put a milk carton on the ground and stomp your foot on it. Guess what fluid shoots out sideways because of the force of your foot coming down on it. Similarly the materials in the tower had no where else to go but sideways.
Also the buildings did not fall as soon as they were hit, like your toothpick-tower analogy. Once one floor gave way there was no way for the next to hold this new weight and a catastrophic failure ensued.

thankgodformaryjane: I have seen all the evidence presented and came to a conclusion. In that aspect I suppose you are right that I cannot be 100%, but the conspiracy argument is very weak. There is ample evidence that the people who carried this out were affiliated with Osama. There are records of their tickets, flight schools, Moussaoi's computer, communications that were intercepted, Osama's own admission...

on the other side...some 'blasts' from the towers, and Bush wanting oil? The whole thing just does not make sense in this context.

i think of this is rather the different particularly. jointly because it may seem that the Tucson shooter could help your theory, you admit that he's extremely risky. i do no longer think of the rationality of risky persons is plenty info of something. i could argue that there are similarities between stable atheism (the declare that there is not any God) and robust theism (the declare that there must be a god) and conspiracy "crap." All 3 of the aforementioned communities make effective claims that they declare their combatants can not see. They declare that the info is all precise in front of you, and that in case you connect the dots, you will see that they are precise. a minimum of hardcore Christians have an answer for why the rest persons are incapable of connecting those dots (the holy spirit). finally nonetheless, "stable atheists" are an virtually non-existent minority between intellectuals. Even out spoken atheists like Richard Dawkins do no longer declare that they could tutor God does not exist. The atheism that basically about all "psychological" atheists carry is amazingly the different of the conspiracy concept ideas-set. This greater consumer-friendly form of atheism claims that the info is inadequate to help the thought in a god. that individual same approach, while utilized to conspiracies could at superb declare that there is inadequate info to justify believing that extraterrestrial beings flow to the earth, that 9/11 replaced into an interior activity, etc. those atheists could admit the possibility of a conspiracy, yet many times we are able to basically be skeptics.

perhaps you should watch the video and see the facts. if a plane crashes into a building at that speed will the building really fall straight down? it wont topple over the slightest? why is that? how come there have been so many fires in the past that havent caused a full building to crash down, even after over 24 hrs of constant burning the buildings still stood? the towers were built with what technology and why did they crash down only shortly after the planes crashed into them?

do an experiment... make a tower out of toothpicks, or whatever you like, now throw an object into it. does it crash straight down or sideways? the building was supported bound many and many steel beems that should be able to support a very large amount of weight. and do explain the explosion blasts u can see in the video. things dont explode without something to ignite it. there had to be some form of blasting powder or very flammable material in order for those explosions.

i find it ammusing you guys claim something u dont research. that is very typical of religious people. claim god exists for a fact, but never even research their own belief. only believe it cause someone told them to, and then they follow what that person says instead of researching for themselves. i find people who dont research anything more along the lines of ignorant. so when you explain to me how the building physically fell straight down and explain to me in terms that you research as opposed to saying "it didnt happen that way" and then putting ur fingers in your ear and humming like a 6 yr old. maybe then we will have reason to hear you out.

While I don't fall for all the conspiracy propaganda without good evidence, let us not forget that the US government has yet to offer good explanations for the events and what really took place. Plus, our government is known for being crooked liars. I'll be your moron, but I won't be one of the sheep. Stay alert, stay alive.

I am equally disgusted. Is it just me or does our county have more than it's share of people sniffing around for conspiracies under every rock.

Isn't it strange that people ignore the obvious but reject the truth because they can't touch tangible evidence?

And you know what really happened right? You were in those planes, and in the tower, you are the firemen/women/police/rescuer?

You know everything? Do you know for a fact that it was NOT a conspiracy?
People are allowed to have different opinion from you, you know.

Put down the pipe eh? What the hell is that. Hey, if you think you are so smart, tell me/show me the PROOF!!!!!!! You said you had it, let me see it.
