she took it as my saying that her bulge was normal fatness but i was using it as the third person like in the french 'on' meaning a person does
admittedly prince charles does say one when he is referring to himself
i am starting to disappear up my own fundament now;special brownie points for anyone if they can tell me what 'fundament' means

If she's too stupid to know what you meant when you said "one" then who cares if you insulted her?

Women start showing at all times (I start showing immediately after becoming pregnant) but most women start to show at two to four months along.

No worse than me once asking a women "When's it due", only to be told in no uncertain terms she wasn't pregnant. In that instance, I nearly got shoved up my own fundament.

I would probably avoid asking any woman (pregnant or not) about weight gain. Just a touchy subject ;-)

its better than saying to someone who is not pregnant "how far along are you"
